I bought a mini-pci wifi card that is supposed to be lenovo compatible. I tried getting to the wire leads but they are in tight. Also it was held down with some sort of fabric like tape. Looking for some feedback from anyone that's already done it.

    (1) Is the tape reusable or where can I get the same kind to replace it?
    (2) Is there trick to removing the wire leads? The instructions didn't show how its done exactly. I tried to lift it with a small flat head but it didn't budge. And using fingers are a bit tricky for me. Didn't want to accidentally break them.

From what I see in the video, you can just prop the things off with a flat head screwdriver.

That's what it seemed like to me too but it I wasn't working out. The only place to have leverage is the joint where the wire meets the plug and that looked like I might break it.

If you have nails, try using them to pinch the connector and pull upwards. If all else fails, improvise and use a pair of tweezers or something (or you can try shaping a piece of metal into what they have).
