    Hi,

    I'm looking to possibly upgrade my LCD screen in an X121e to one with a higher vertical resolution and wondered whether anyone has done it previously.

    I am trying to find a suitable panel but not able to find one in the correct size or find out if it's compatible with my netbook.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Having the same question. Bought a X131e with a broken screen. I like to replace it with a full HD one. But those screens are 30pin. The original is 40 pins.

    full hd is not possible, the highest you can go is 1366 x 768, i am assuming since it is 40 pin it is going to be lvds and all of the 1080p screens currently available are edp 30 pins, there are some better quality 1366 x 768 panels out there, whether or not they will fit in your x1** series laptop is a different question..

    Thanks for your reply. What are the better quality 1366 x 768 panels? LG or Samsung ?

    LG screen is better, the x121e original screw should be LG LP116WH2 TL N1
