I'm puzzled with something that I'm guessing a lot had similar experiencing. I''m looking to replace my palmrest on a X200 CTO-7454.
The actual part no. in my laptop is 45N4891. The HMM says that the part number is 45N4890. And in eBay I can find a similar part no. 45N4362, that also appear as a valid part in here:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?LegacyDocID=MIGR-70510
I understand that the HMM changes with new revisions and new part no. but is there a way to know if other part numbers are also good for my laptop, since some of them are cheaper. Also, can I find old HMM's somewhere?

First of all, there are way too many FRUs for any specific part/model to be listed in any HMM.
Secondly, are you looking for the old version without touchpad, or the newer that includes it? -
There's no touch pad connector on the X200 motherboard. I presume because the X200 and X201 share a HMM, both are listed in there and either will fit, but the touch won't work on the X200.

This one looks right to me:
Genuine New IBM ThinkPad X200 X200s Palmrest Fingerprint Hole 45N4362 45N4364 | eBay

Thanks for all the suggestions. There is no touchpad on the X200 so that's what I'm looking for.
Anyway there are many FRU's for different models but I was looking only for my model and the part number is different in each place. I talking about different number for the same part which is:
Palm rest assembly with fingerprint reader, with Logo plate, 35W for X200
Thought there is was an explanation for the different part numbers for the same part in different pages on Lenovo's website. -
Yes, the touch padless palm rest on the X200 is much more aesthetically pleasing. I wish they made on for the X220, sigh. I'd say just go on eBay and pick one up. It'll most likely work.
