Like some of you, I have been wanting to get rid of those sub-standard LCD panel from day one. But at that time, with limited info had held me down until now, I am sharing all replacement options I have found so far, I hope one will work out for you

    [ stock LCD panel ]
    *AUO36ED (AU Optronics)
    *CMN15C4 (Chi Mei)
With touch screen model, the digitizer is glued onto the LCD panel. It is very hard to separate the digitizer off the panel.
    eDp 30 pin connector

    [instructions]
Follow carefully page 74 of the service manual

[ IPS panels with digitizer ]
Some of these are from Acer, Asus panels, with the Lenovo logo being Acer, or just the Windows logo. They have edge to edge glass front.

    LP156WF4 SP D1 1920*1080 , from laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk , price : £167.94

    LP156WF4(SP(D1) 1920*1080 , from alibaba , price : $110 , must buy 5 pcs

    LTN156FL02-L01 3840x2160 UHD, from alibaba , price : $110 , must buy 5 pcs

    LP156WF6-SPA1 1920*1080 , from alibaba , price : $110 , must buy 5 pcs

Hopefully some of these will show up on ebay without minimum order quantity.
    Cheers ! :)

were you able to replace the screen? I saw that if you replace the screen on the touch model with the non touch model, you had to buy a front panel, did you have to do that with these digitizer models?

Same question as the friend above.
Did you need to purchase a separate digitizer?

The first lcd you mention is a 40 pin connector, but then in specifications... it says 30 pins. Not sure what to make of it.

The other three you mention.. 3rd is glare 4K display, which says 16 ms response time. Sounds unlikely, but who knows? (I should probably mention, the 4K display used on Y50's has a yellow issue, this may or may not have the same problem as well...)

The 2nd link is a glare screen @35 ms response time.

The 4th link is a anti-glare screen @25 ms response time.

Also you can find 1 qty digitizer w/ display on aliexpress. No idea if they actually work though.. need to watch more videos of disassembly.
