i realize it's theoretically a very straightforward operation, but i want to do it right and not get surprised by anything. figured this has to have been discussed already, but my forum search on the topic came up empty handed.
any links/help greatly appreciated-- I have a 2gb stick of corsair ram to install once my fresh xp is loaded.
thanks!

Yeah, you can also google the topic and find loads of instructional videos. The first time that I ever tried to upgrade RAM on my desktop, I was able to fine way more instructional vids on the issue than I actually needed using Google. I have never seen a Lenovo guide, but the guides that come with the computer seldom go into detail about how to install various aftermarket hardware, or maybe it just seems that way to me.
[t61] is there a better RAM upgrade/installation guide than the Lenovo manual?
