    Hi all,

Recently I bought one latest model T420 machine from US which is having core i7.And I installed Windows XP SP2 in it.After that , I have installed all the necessary drivers from lenovo software center , Drivers and software - ThinkPad T420, T420i, T420s, T420si, T520, T520i and W520 .Everything is working EXCEPT SOUND DRIVER.When I install the sound driver it is saying Driver Installation failed ,could not find device for this driver. So I cannot play a song in windows media player either. The sound driver name is 8aad07ww downloaded from lenovo website.

To cross check for the sound device, I tried with Ubuntu 11.04 and there it is working fine..

    Can anyone help me?

    Many kin regards,
    /dhinu

I agree with ZaZ, go to here (Microsoft Download Center) for a 300mb file that installs Windows XP SP3 (Note: This is the 32 bit OS update.).
