Finally managed to finished a fresh install of XP including the Intel Matrix Drivers on my T61 except for one issue. There's seems to an exclaimation mark on the 1394 Net Adapter which indicates that it cannot start. Tried uninstalling hoping that it will fix itself after a reboot but its still the same. Anyone have any suggestions?

Anyone? Just wondering, is the 1394 Adapter built in to the system board or seperate? I strongly suspect that it has failed! :(

i think it is built in, 1394 is Firewire port to me. It shouldn't have just died.
