Wow, I'm not even sure what to do.

I was using the U300s watching a Youtube video (but on balanced power, it was running very cool so heat isn't the issue), it was fully charged, had only been awake 10 minutes, so at least 90% battery.

The power cut off instantly, no warning. It will not power up at all now, no lights, fans, anything. I've tried holding down the power button for 30 seconds, also the One Key Restore button, no effect. Plugging in the AC adapter also shows no status LED lights like normal.

This thing is nine months old, I use it every day! Any ideas out there?

I know it's not SSD failure, I would still see lights and bios. Is there anything to do short of opening up the case and checking physical connections? (I'm an IT admin btw, so that's no problem...) Just want to hear your experiences.

This is the orange 256gb Core i7, Newegg purchase. I do have the next day onsite warranty, which oddly enough is scheduled to replace my touchpad THIS week... I may just wait and see what that tech rep says.

Back to the old Dell e1505 for now, bummers.

So, I waited about 20 minutes, plugged it back, the lights came on so I pressed the power button and everything booted up perfectly. Nothing in the logs, no trace of any errors.

All data is backed up, so I'm just waiting to see if it happens again at this point. Has anyone else with an SSD out there had this happen? I'd love to hear some stories and insight of others. Thanks!
