    It doesn't work, does it?

    I just used it and it shows the code taking off money in the checkout, but once you checkout, the e-mail confirmation shows the the code not working.

    Same thing happened to me last night - ordered a T61 through the Education link (so it should have been discounted already), then stacked the 10% off coupon on top of that. My email confirmation reflected neither the Education or coupon discounts and my total was about $100 more than it should have been.

    Looks like I'm going to have to call Monday morning and sort this out. ::grumble grumble grumble::

    It worked fine for me when making a quote. Just make a quote to lock in the price. If you don't, I think that coupon expires tomorrow.

    I just created a quote for T61p for $1,456.92. My previous purchase for the same config resulted in $1656.80. Can I do a price match? I have sent the quote as an email to my sales rep. Does anyone know wats the procedure?

    My estimated shipping date for my first purchase is 08/06/07.

    I think most of us in the same boat, there's even a dedicated thread about the account problems. I also had to create a new account when redeeming the 10% coupon. I would think they would just look at your name/address when you call rather than the customer number.

    I didnt use that. I just used the 10% coupon code and took a bare T61 and removed Vista Biz to Basic, took off Bluetooth, took RAM down to 512, 60 gig drive which got it down to $800 something, minus the 10% off which was $729 pre tax.

    You can wait a few days. I think the USXIBMSPPTRIPLE coupon should be valid till the end of this month, but it only gives 5% off thinkpads

    if i wait a week for something else, then I will, otherwise I"m just gonna order the stupid thing.

    hmmm I tried again and again. The first coupon has already expired, but the 2nd coupon doesn't work. SPP page refers to the student & alumni discount page right? Because I tried it in there (Education page) and normally but neither attempt worked.

    Everytime you change from one discount program to another (eg. Education to SPP), you have to close your browser window, reopen, and then try the next link. Otherwise, you're cookies will redirect you to the same program every single time you try to get into another one.

    It is slightly cheaper only because of the Shareholder Purchase Program. Every time I type in the ecoupon code, I click apply and it just refreshes page/disappears. And I don't see that minus discount amount under the box.
