    Any idea on when the T61p will be updated?

    I heard talk on the forums that the t61p's were going to be updated soon. anyone have any idea how soon and how much the updated models are gonna cost? im gonna take a wild guess and say that the new ones will have LED backlit screens meaning longer battery life, which is what i need. i'd be willing to wait for that

    Yeah, just search a few pages back. I think the new ones will come out around June. But the prices will be high. Probably around the same prices as when the T61s first came out.

    Nehalem will be coming out in Q4 of this year. I would assume Lenovo would issue a new model at that time and, as zephyrus17 pointed out, be priced for the early adopter.

    Nehalem will be out in Q4 2008, but I think that is just for servers/desktops. I think it will be in laptops in Q2 2009, as that is when the Calpella platform is being released.
