One game that I would really like to play is Microsoft flight sim x.
I ordered a thinkpad with with:

    2 ghz core duo
    nvidia quadro 140m
    2 gig ram

Seems like it would be good on around medium

I think someone said that the processor is just as important as the graphic
card for flight sim x. Is this true?

Anyone play flight sim x on their thinkpads?

I did with my T60 with an x1400 and T7200. I got decent frame rates with Low to medium low settings.

Also, FSX does not like sonic DLA. If your computer shipped with XP, be sure to disable it, or better yet uninstall it.

Haven't played FSX, but FS9 works fine on my T61, even with Intel graphics.
