I have a really ackward t60p that crashes with blue screen quite often. I didn't use the original operating system. I installed my own xpsp2 legit. I've installed dozen of laptops before but this one is really strange.

Gave the laptop a brand new install, after about 2-3 weeks I keep getting blue screen randomly. Then once it rebooted about 4 times in a row before it corrupted the system files.

So I reinstall it again and worked fine for another 2-3 weeks and the problem came back. I'm 100% sure I installed the right drivers as I have used the IBM updater to check for newer drive and it is fine. Updated all the bios etc.

Then I gave up and use their recovery CD. No problem since then, no random blue screen. Therefore it must bet the drivers that was causing the problem. I checked the minidump and it doesn't say much because its a different fault each time. But its been 2 months now and I haven't get any random crashes after using their recovery CD.
