I recently did a clean install on my lappy following Stallen's Clean Install Guide.
I installed all the drivers for my Lenovo 3000 N100 in the order Stallen recommended and the ones for my laptop.

Before the clean install, my battery life was about 2 1/2 hrs unplugged, give or take. NOW, it's less than 45 minutes.

The battery is a replacement that Lenovo sent me just before my warranty expired about 2 years ago. This laptop is usually plugged in, once in a while I'll use it unplugged so that the battery drains and re-charges.

I've checked the battery options, and made a Power Saver profile for using it cordless, but I still have less than an hour of battery life.

Can anyone shed a light on this? Anything further that I need to do?

    TIA

Maybe you should reset the battery.

Or some cells could have gone bad too.

HOW do I do that?

Always a possibility. I would prefer to check out all options before $helling out for a new battery.

I'm open to all suggestions, so bring them on.

    TIA
