When I put my T61p into sleep mode (Fn-F4) when running off the battery and then resume plugged into the AC, I loss the ability use the brightness controls upon resuming. This is somewhat annoying as I prefer a higher brightness setting under AC. Rebooting returns the setting to the where I like it, but kind of a pain. Anyone else have this problem or how I might fix it.
    thanks.

Have you tried unplugging the AC and plugging back it in?

The Power Manager works very weird for me too but a good habit to get into is to boot up your system first and then plug the AC in. That always made everything smooth for me.

So try hitting Fn to get out of sleep mode, then plug the AC in.
