I'll appreciate if anyone could tell me what the following preloaded programs are for. If not important I'll uninstall them:

    Microsoft.NET Framework
    Microsoft SQL Server
    MSXML 4.0 SP2 / 6.0 Parser
    PC-Doctor 5 for Windows
    Picasa 2
    Sonic DLA
    Sonic........

    Many thanks in advance.

The first 3 are from Microsoft and you may or may not need them. There is really no need to remove them though. PC-Doctor is a Windows maintenance program. Normally you have to pay for it, and it's a decent program, so if it's free, I would keep it, and use it! Picasa is a good picture viewing / basic photo editing program. It's provided by google, and it's free. I use it personally. Uninstall it if you want though. I think Sonic is a CD / DVD burning package similar to Roxio or Nero...I don't really know much about it though.

    Cheers

Thank you so much! What do the first 3 Microsoft programs do? I may keep the rest.

    First do not delete

    Microsoft.NET Framework

    or

    MSXML 4.0 SP2 / 6.0 Parser

You'd be stupid to do so as they're the foundation for the functionality of some programs. If none of your programs need them then you can get rid of them but I don't think you can make that judgment if you asked this question in the first place. The rest can go.
