    Canceling order with Lenovo Canada

    I'm about to order a T61p, but I'm worried that Penryn may come out right after I order..

    I'm ordering now because I'm getting a great discount with the EPP and Lenovo's current sale, however, if Penryn comes out in the Thinkpads after I order, how easy will it be to cancel my order and re-order a T61p with a Penryn processor?

    Generally, how long do you get to cancel an order with Lenovo Canada? Can you cancel the order at any time without penalty?

    I might order on Jan/21st. kinda losing patience here and they probably won't have sale for penryn for a while which would hike the price.

    No, I don't think you can cancel your order after like 2 or 3 days. I tried that with my order. You can return only return it after you receive it and get refund. But I believe you have to pay shipping.

    So if i order a t61 today (Sunday), I can't cancel tomorrow (Monday) without any penalty??

    You might be able to do that. A day after shouldn't be too late. Once you make your order online, call and confirm it. Also ask them any questions that you might have about canceling later, or putting it on hold, etc.

    You can cancel all you want as long as it hasn't shipped. I just canceled my T61p and reordered it with bluetooth because I decided I wanted it that way.

    Well, I'll wait a little more. I believe there will be back to school sale, luna new year sale and whatever other sales lenovo can come up with. They can expect consumers to buy at a much higher price once we saw the low price.
