Can you guys advise me on what to do?

I canceled my order 2 days ago - however the representative said the machine was already on the production line and it would take 24-48 hours to cancel.

Well, I just called and it's still not cancelled - 48 hours later. The ship date is TOMORROW.

Every representative I talk to says that it does show I sent in a request to cancel 2 days ago, but that it hasn't processed yet.

I don't want this thing to ship out and I don't want my card to be charged.

What do you advise to do?

What if the package ships and they charge my card?

    thanks

Have you checked their complete policy? If they have stated that when you cancel the order at the period you did, they give 24-48 hours to process it, then it is canceled and they cannot charge you for a shipment as it is their side that has made the mistake. If they have stated that you may cancel at any point before the shipment notice is sent, but that you are responsible for return shipping if it is shipped and you canceled 48 hours prior, then you would be responsible. You can always attempt to go through your credit card company and bar payment based upon your explanation. You may want to call Lenovo back and request to speak to a manager/director to ensure that everything is recognized and you are not accountable...remember to get names, dates, and what was said.

A similar situation happened to me. Unfortunately, there is a SERIOUS disconnect between the production line and the sales representatives. I cancelled an order and the next day the unit shipped. My card was charged. It took 2-3 weeks before my card was credited the full amount.

Refuse the package if it does ship.

get an Return Authorization, DO NOT OPEN the box and your card will be credited in 7-10 business days....

Worst case scenario dispute the charge
