We have many "cleaning" guides that does a clean install, but I couldn't find a "How to physically clean your thinkpad" guide @ NBR. lol

So for all the T61 owners, how do you clean your thinkpad?

I mean we all have natural oil or what not on the surface of the laptop especially on the exterior after daily usage. So how do you guys clean your LCD screen, exterior of the laptop, keyboard, etc?

Thankfully the T61 doesn't pick up finger prints like the Dell Vostro and some other laptops, but how do you clean all the "grease" from T61?

    Thanks.

Use either one of those cleaning cloths for screens, or a moist/damp paper towel.

    Don't use a paper towel >.<

This quote is something I typed in another thread. Surefire way to clean a laptop for less than $3, and almost 0 chance of causing scratches, and the material absorbs fingerprints (grease/oils):

In the ThinkPad manual it tells you how to clean your laptop. At least for the T61p

If under warranty, ask for a new keyboard when you want to replace your old dirty one :)

Is it possible to reduce the amount of static electricity build up on the screen? It's a dust magnet on mine.
