    FYI,

    Lenovo.com has some pretty good discounts going right now. The coupon is also working on the EPP site for those of you with access. The ThinkPad T440s arriving at my home today is $114 cheaper than what I paid.

    Which sales are permanent or which change everyday. I don't want to be an impulsive buyer but....I read the sales end December 1st. So can I assume the deals will last till December and not change every day as the website implies. That would not make sense.

    It's a 23% discount if you use it on one of the discount sites like EPP or BarnesNoble Gold. Doesn't really get better than this with Lenovo.

    Ugh if I would've just waited a few days I would have a huge discount. I talked to a Lenovo rep and he wasn't any help with applying a discount to my order. Are my options to basically buy another machine at this lower price point and then return the one that I already ordered as soon as it gets here?

    Has yours shipped already? If so, I believe you can return it for free when you get it, although I'm not sure. If you don't want to make any changes, then Lenovo has a 21-day price-matching policy, so I'd look into that.

    For me, I plan to make a few tweaks to my order, so I'm canceling tomorrow and then reordering. My current ship date is 12/2, and the expected is 12/4, so it's basically no loss in time for me.

    It hasn't shipped, I believe it isn't set to ship until 12/6 or something like that. Is it actually possible to cancel if it hasn't shipped and if so, how? BTW, I asked the rep about the 21-day price match and he said since the deals change everyday I might not get the same price tomorrow (when the dept that handles that stuff is open).

    I don't know, this whole thing is not clear to me as well. You can cancel of course, but from what I've garnered from online forum posts, canceling Lenovo orders is a huge hassle, although I don't know if this is true or not.

    If you don't want to change, save the price in some manner (screen shot, save to cart, copy/paste, etc.) and email [email protected]. They're notorious for not responding, however.

    You configure an identical machine, add to cart and then SAVE the cart. Then call post-sales support and give them your existing order # and your Cart ID / Name so they can process the credit.

    Post Sales Phone Support at 1-866-428-4465. The support is available Monday to Friday from 9 AM - 7 PM as per EST timezone.

    Would be nice if any of these savings would work in Europe... Especially since Lenovo stuff is already so expensive here.
