Do you get Enhanced Experience on a clean Windows 7 installation?

I am considering a clean re-installation of Win 7 but wonder what would happen if I don't use my Lenovo restore disks but Win 7 DVD instead. Would I still get the "Enhanced Experience" performance tweaks?

edit: I noticed there are a few extra programs installed like "Enable wireless card maximum battery saving mode" and others. Is EE just tweaks to the drivers (that I can download and install) or does it include some hidden registry settings?
