    Fastest processor for a T60?

    What's the fastest processor I can put in a T60? Will it take a T9900?

    No, it will not take a T9900. The T60 uses the Merom Core 2 Duos, so I believe the fastest is the Core 2 Duo T7800 at 2.6GHz.

    The fastest CPU the T60 will take is the 2.33GHz T7600. The T7800 is a socket P CPU with the 800MHz FSB.
