    I know Thinkpads are not meant for gaming. I'm not a huge gamer. However that doesn't mean I don't play them from time to time.

    I am aware that the FireGL cards are "More for CAD" but the v5250 states an equivalent of an x1700 with different drivers.

    The primary game I'll be playing that I'd assume would be the most graphically 'intensive' (Ragnarok 2) is based on Unreal Engine 2.0. Does anyone with experience with this FireGL card or a lesser version ever try out Unreal Tournament 2003/2004? This is ancient by todays standards I'm sure but I have to make sure I can play it, otherwise the laptop is as useless as an Apple for my idea of gaming. :}

    Other than that, I'm still a huge fan of good old Quake 2, Ragnarok Online 1..nothing compared to the latest games I'm sure.

    This is the LAST issue holding me back from buying a Thinkpad. Anyone got a perspective on this issue?
