Anybody know why Lenovo doesn't offer the flexview in 14.1" screens? Is it limitations in the technology or just a marketing decision?

Marketing ftw! 14" are portables and 15" are workstations and lots of people like the fact that there is a small viewing angle on certain notebooks for privacy reasons, whereas using a workstation at the office doesn't present the privacy concern so you might as well have a nice screen.

its unfortunate that the high res 14" isn't that great either..almost forces you to go with the 15" if you want a good screen since thinkpads generally aren't known for their screens

    yeah i think so too...

why'd anyone need a large viewing angle in small screen size... i think it is more appropriate for smaller sized screens to have a limited viewing angle.

so when will lenovo create a 17incher T60 with this flexview? that i want to see :) ... hmm can it compete with xps1710 and precision m90? hehe just a thought there guys, all i can do now is imagine

but hmm... i hope mine has that flexview

A 17" would more than likely be a new line or bring the G line back.
