Hey, I'm buying a notebook soon. I'm a college student and mostly what I do is word processing, web designing, and maybe some 3-D games. Eventually I determined to get the T43. I had been waiting for a while since I heard that the T60 model is coming out, so I might get a discount on the older series.

At last, I saw this Sale on Lenovo website, do u think this is a good deal? If it is, I'm going to get it soon. If it's not, should I wait a little bit furthur? Thanks ahead for advices. :)

Honestly I'm not sure $1700 is that great. I'd hold out for something better.

You might want to check with Bill over on ThinkPads.com. He offers a 5% discount for new customers and you won't have to pay tax unless you are in FL. Plus he will do a dead pixel check before sending it off if asked. If you really want to game there are better choices like the Asus Z70va though the keyboard won't be as good.

Thanks a lot guys for your advices. :) But I think I'm gonna stick with this T43, since I'll need to do word processing A LOT, so good keyboard means a lot to me.

BTW, the thinkpads.com website arrangement is so fancy, got a little bit dizzy when visited it. :p
