    Is the following a good price for a 14" widescreen T61?

    Thinking about cancelling my T61p to get this 14" in faster...what kind of deal is this?

    well, I think I'd downgrade your processor to a T7300 in favor of a WXGA+ screen (available by calling).... just my $0.02.

    I'm sorry to hear this, I would suggest trying again. When I ordered my R61 with wxga+ on 8/16/07, there was no option for this screen available on the website, but after inquiring with a sales rep he was able to place my order without a problem...

    My initial estimated ship date was 10/14/07, but it shipped on 8/24/07--10 days after ordering. Estimated delivery date is 8/30/07, so if all goes well I'll be up and running soon!

    I would get Bluetooth on that config. Also I really do not think getting the T7700 is worth it at all. Its not going to be noticeably faster than a T7300 unless you are number crunching constantly.
