I used to use fingerprint only to login to windows xp. But my computer got a virus recently. After I killed the virus, strange thing happened to my fingerprint login.

When I start the computer, it first shows a window with:

    Please wait....
or hit ctrl+alt+del to login with windows password

I waited quite a while but it still did not show the fingerprint function. Then I had to hit Ctrl+alt+del and went to another window to put in my username and domain and hit "ok". Then it asked for my finger print. I swiped my finger and then I get login.

I used to be able to just swipe my finger once to login in. Now I have to hit ctrl+alt+del, then hit "ok", then swipe my finger. It's very kind of annoying. Can anyone help me solve this problem? Thanks a lot.

I think it's under user profile. Try Control Panel -> User. Select the user, and change the way you log in. I don't quite remember, so I could be wrong.

You know... I'm wandering if you got all of the virus or if you are telling it your username and password?
