    Hidden partition updated?

    When one updates Lenovo software and drivers, does that also update the files in the hidden partition? I heard that the partition is changed when XP is upgraded to Vista, but is this also true for regular file updates?

    I know when I updated to R&R4 and CSS8, it updated my hidden partition.

    It does not update the hidden partition, only when you update CSS8/R&R4 and anything else related to backup / restore. Outside of that no, the hidden partition does not get touched in anyway.

    I was going to reload everything because of all the stuff piled in my registry but now it seems like quite a bit of work.
