Two issues that I never had w/previous Lenovos. When I use Power Manager and put my computer in "Maximum Performance" mode, it won't stay that way on reboot. Furthermore, my screen still dims after I walk away from it.

Also, my USB ports sleep (even if I disable this in the Control Panel). I use USB Midi Keyboards for music and if I walk away, the connection drops presumably b/c the port falls out dropping the connection. I can't get it back unless I close the app I'm using and restart it. I also have to unplug and plug back in my USB cable.

    Any ideas?

USB will always default to sleep mode. In you power options, go into advanced and select usb. Drill down and turn select suspend off.
