I just got my IdeaPad U330. It came with no DVD's. It has a hidden recovery partition. The "one key recovery" help says to go to lenovo's "one key rescue" software, but it doesn't exist! I don't have the program that exists in the help and shown in the graphics...

Do you have a "Lenovo" partition in your Computer folder? If so, you should be able to just double click on it, and it will automatically prompt you to make disks.
EDIT: Oh wait, you said hidden. Usually, in the start menu, there is an item for "Burn Recovery Disks" or the like. See if the U330 has that. -
Thanks for the resopnse.
I checked that. Nothing is there that I can tell. It's quite frustrating. I know I will eventually (and probably soon) swap out the 250GB 5400RPM for a 500GB 7200RPM Seagate Momentus. So would like to have the recovery partition backed up.
The manual states how to do it, but the software isn't there that they ask you to use. I also have found no easy way to email Lenovo for support questions like this.
How to Create Recovery DVD's on new IdeaPad U330?
