    I have a new 15.4'' T61.

In the lower right corner of the keyboard are two Browser Back and Browser Forward keys (on top of left and right keys respectively).

I wanted to disable them or redefine them. I tried ThinkVantage Keyboard Customizer but to no avail.

Does anybody know how to do this?

    Regards.

I actually really like the *idea* of the keys...

but, the "back" key seems to work differently from the "backspace" key. When I press the "backspace" key in IE7, the previous page loads to the same position that it was previously scrolled to. So if I was halfway down the previous page, it would re-load as such. When I use the thinkpad "back" key, the previous page loads as a fresh page at the very top. HOWEVER, *sometimes* it will behave the same as the backspace key and load scrolled down the page where I was previously.

Make sense? Any ideas what the "problem" is?

WQhat the problem is? Well obviously not a problem for you, not a problem for most. But why we would want them disabled?

I can only speak for myself, but when I sometimes use the arrow keys for certain types of moving (most is done w/trackpoint/scroll for me), and if I miskey and hit one of those, you go page back/forward. There are so many scroll options on a thinkpad though, I should just prevent myself from using them. But if I could turn it off I would. I understand that it is not a problem for everyone. But so far, it is for two of us at least.
