    I finally gave in and ordered a 14.1" laptop.. the T61!! Got tired of waiting for Dell's XPS1330 to drop into my price range as they kept the base price constant as technology price drops with time and just kept upping the specs on the base model.

    For the Lenovo Thinkpad T61 i configured mine as:

    You'll definitely want more RAM than that if you're going to use Vista.
