    Hi, i'm thinking of purchasing a T61 or a T60P, and I have some questions of shipping.


    1.) How long does a Lenovo laptop usually ship?

    2.) Does it come with free shipping?

    Shipping with lenovo is a mess. It can be anywhere from 2-3 weeks to several months before the laptop is shipped and I haven't found anyone who knows any rhyme or reason as to why this happens. Their shipping estimate seems to be virtually useless as it is rarely correct. I would plan on it taking around 4 to 6 weeks before the item is shipped though. After the item is shipped it took mine exactly 3 days to get to my door step (not bad for standard shipping from Hong Kong) but others have reported a 1 week delivery time or slightly more.

    They do offer free standard shipping in the USA excluding Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

    there is no right answer, unless you buy from a retailer, which many here have done.
