It doesnt have the FlexView , i dont think any of the 14" lcd's are flexview.You can click on customize and click "continue", it will show you the screen type in the summary.

Flexview only comes on the 15" models.
As for whether or not it's a good deal... is subjective. I think it's a pretty good deal... it IS a ThinkPad afterall. -
If you limit yourself to T-series only, you will have Flexview on any 15" SXGA+ (1400x1050) or UXGA (1600x1200) that comes on any of the following models: T42,T42p,T43,T43p,T60,T60p. And only on them. This should answer your question and any future questions, as I see you don't seem to be considering other models, like the R-series (some of which also have Flexview).

well, I bought my T43 on ebay brand new in box. compared to that link, it adds the 15" SXGA (Flexview) screen, loses the fingerprint reader and 9-cell battery, and cost me $1450 shipped.

I dont see anymore R51 series on the current IBM website with FlexView, only R51e with regular lcds. The R52 don't have FlexView as well.
