    Hi everybody
As much as have been said about HPA on IBM Thinkpads I am still not sure about one thing. On my C drive I have following folders:
    IBMSHARE
    IBMTOOLS
    SUPPORT
    VALUEADD
They occupy an not insignificant 2gb of HD space. If I delete them will everything work fine? That is if I will be able to restore system to factory settings using Access IBM or restore an image from HDD using Rapid Restore?
If so, what is the point in putting those folders on a visible partiton?
My understanding of HPA is that it contains them already.
    Thanks for any hints.

    Nobody tried it?
I don't have time because I work abroad and simply don't have all software by me in case something goes wrong.
I am really curious though if it is safe to remove them.
