I just bought this unit 2nd hand, it has win7 already installed which says 'windows is not genuine", I am trying to install XP Pro on it but I am getting this message:

Setup did not find any hard disk drives in your computer

I don't understand why this message since the existing OS is working? Any ideas on how to reload XP please?

You'll need to go into the BIOS and set the SATA controller to 'Compatibility' mode.

If you want to use SATA mode then you'll need to install the SATA drivers during the XP install when prompted, by pressing F6.

Does it have a Windows COA sticker on the bottom?
