Lenovo IdeaPad U260 review -- Engadget
any one have one of these here? any comments? and any one heard of a refresh with sandy bridge in it?(hopefully it would help battery life)(which is at 3 hours or casual use)

Maybe you should look at the Thinkpad Edge E220S or the S205, both of which are a excellent replacement for the U460. Since the U460 was just release a couple month ago, I doubt that it will be refreshed anytime soon.

For some reason Lenovo produced very little of the U260 and they are not sold in many markets.

I think it was more of a halo model to showcase Lenovo design (ie, look at the Dell Adamo and Adamo XPS series) than a practical good buy. The specs are nothing special, and the battery life is pretty miserable for the price you pay. As for a refresh, I don't see that happening in the near future, but it's really anyone's guess.

I don't think Ideapad should have a halo product yet, especially given the fact that not many people are familiar with this particular model. It was already a PIA to track one down in China, with the delivery date been pushed back and lot of people whom was going to get it was put off by the delivery date.
I think the problem is to do with parts shortage or unexpected production difficulties.
Yeah i concur about the battery life, as battery life is one of the most important aspects of this class of laptops especially given the fact that it has integrated battery pack.
IdeaPad U260 owners? refresh>?
