We should be getting one for review this week. I wasn't too impressed when I tried it out at CES, but it was on a showfloor and hard to really tell under such conditions.

sweet. wondering how a big price mini compares to the rest of the playing field. looking forward to the review.

will be waiting for your review!

For some reason, it looks a little too shiny in the commercial. It looks nice, but the price...ouch...

Can't wait to read the reviews

Make sure to take lots of pictures, this thing's a beauty.

These sorts of ultraportables just command a price premium over its bigger cousins. The price is right in line with the only other 11.1" WXGA laptops on the market, Vaio TZ and Asus U2E.
Interesting it has a LV 1.6ghz processor instead of ULV processor 1.06 to 1.33ghz in the TZ/U2E, wonder how much of a performance difference there will be.
I also heard unlike the other two, the U110's screen isn't LED-backlit, is this confirmed or not? -
i think the manufacturers need to be careful when they market these machine. they are a little light packed to compare with the 13"+ models and a little heavy to be compared with the 7"-10" mini pc models. But the price is overly heavy compared to a mini laptop such as the EEEpc or the HP mini note. To get 75% of the features of a machine like this for 1/3 of the price or less is hard to beat. Then again it takes a certain type of person to buy one of these small form laptops. Atom is just around the corner and Nvidia now claims to soon be putting intel out of the low power cpu market. Time will tell.

Rahul, isn't the L7500 chip the same as in the MacBook Air? I also believe that the screen will set this unit apart from the Sony TZ. You just can't beat a TZ screen from what I've seen from the competition.

$1900?! Crazy. I just bought the X61 with the new 2.4Ghz Penryn CPU, fully loaded, for $1061. The extra $900 isn't worth it IMO. I'm glad I bought the X61 now. If the U1100 is any indication, I suspect the new X200 will be near $2000 as well.
