A coworker of mine had a Y560 for a while, and now the screen is cracked... I searched around the forum and didn't find anything for this specific model. I remember being seeing (when I was looking at laptops recently) a list of screen models for the Y470 and being told that I could always get a better screen to put on it. Anyone have any experience with this, or changing the screen? Thanks everyone!

I'm not sure if I ever saw anyone replace a screen on y560 around here.....

In any case; I would try posting in Hardware Components and Aftermarket Upgrades. You may get people who are knowledgeable that normally wouldn't view this sub-forum. If all else fails, you could just get them the OEM screen and tell them to save the extra $ for new laptop in the future.... ;)
