    It has a 1Gb LAN port on the left side between the display port and USB cluster.

    i haven't used the gigabit port on the t400 yet, but the wireless N on it is very fast. I got over 9MB/sec transfer speed(1GB file) from my desktop to my laptop, that's faster than my USB drive!

    just to put it into perspective, here is is a test done at barefeat for apple's macbook pro & airport extreme running in wireless N mode transferring a 1GB file, it's less than 4MB/sec, not even half the speed! of course there're couple of variables here, but it's still pretty fast...
