    Is the Widescreen T61 longer in width then the T60 non-widescreen.

    I want to know if the 14.1 widescreen T61 is longer then the non-widescreen T60 (meaning the laptop itself is built longer). I ask this because I ordered a case for a 14.1" laptop and I don't know if it will fit.

    The 14" T60 is about 12.2 inches in width while the 14" T61 is about 13.1 inches.

    I just listed the dimensions of the T61 to be at least 13" wide, the dimensions you listed is 12.5" wide. :p

    No, I don't think it will fit.

    Maybe with a squeeze, you can fit it in. Some cases are more tolerant to squeezing than others.

    There should be exterior and interior dimensions. Which one is the 13"?

    edit: are you talking about a messenger bag or sleeve, or what?

    The interior is 13". How long is the T61 the other way? (Measure the laptop when it's closed, don't just measure the screen!)
