This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Press releases showed an Oct 11 release date for the M, but the Lenov web site still shows only 1 low-end M model for sale.

    Has anyone heard a new date?

    no, I just got a review unit yesterday so they are real :). I'll see the folks from Lenovo tomorrow and will ask if there's anything up with the date for availability.

    it's pretty annoying they only released the crappy m by the Oct 11 date - I was waiting to see the prices on them.

    i've been waiting to buy a laptop for like a month b/c I keep hearing about these new ones coming out later that I want to buy! then they don't come out

    Even worse, the crappy one has been there for a week or more. Nothing at all happened on Oct 11.

    Did you get any update on when we could buy one of these? So far the Lenovo web site still lists just one an ultra-low-end barely-configurable mode.
