I'm in the market for a new thin/light laptop, and quality is really important to me. I'm a student that uses my laptop around campus and at home for my main computer. I want a quality, durable product that will last. I use my computer for word processing, power point, photoshop, itunes, movies, poker programs. I'm not much of a gamer, basically I'll play some NES or SNES roms once in a while but thats about it.

My main concern about this machine is the lack of a graphics card. How will this limit me? Does it even matter for the type of things I'm using my computer for? Is this going to hurt me in the future? I'd really appreciate it if someone could explain because I'm not that knowledgable about computer graphics. Say if I did decide I wanted to play some games on my Z61t, what games would I be limited to? What other applicatoins would I not be able to run?

    Thanks in advance :)

Those were some of my same considerations and even though I have used Lenovos (from IBM) for years, I decided that the z61 was behind the technology curve, especially in terms of graphics. I do not think that the lack of a dedicated graphics card is a major issue right now (supposedly the z61 will run Aero) , but I do think it is limiting. Also, I have read in these forums that the z61 line may be discontinued soon. So you might want to wait and see.

I wanted a computer now so I just ordered the Sony SZ450. I am not a big user of graphics, but I, like you, at least wanted the graphics to be available when needed.

If you are not gaming or doing 3D modeling the card don't mean much. The Z is a very solid computer.

Out of curiosity, what kind of games, if any would run on z61t? What about something like WoW?

I really like my z61t. It's incredibly solid, the weight is perfect for carrying it around. Very durable. Can't be any help on the gaming ability, since that's not what I'm using it for. But I can throw in a recommendation on it for all other aspects. Check out the WoW requirements and compare to the Z61t specs. Or better yet, post the specs of the z61t video on some WoW forums.
