    Is there a 12'' XGA IPS display with x61 tablet?

    A guy is selling his x61 tablet and saying it is with an IPS XGA 12'' display.
    From thinkpad wiki there is no XGA IPS for x61 tablet.
    Can anyone confirm this?

    Have not found anything related IPS display with this model.

    It's probably a mistake but he might have installed an IPS screen on his own.

    Don't tablets have AFFS screens? Aren't those almost as good as IPS?

    there were no "IPS" panels (in a specific sense) spec'd for the X6 tablet.   all panels for that series were BOE Hydis AFFS.

    AFFS is better anyway so don't lose any sleep over it.   the seller likely just said "IPS" because it's become a generic term that everyone uses with wide-angle displays.
