Is there a good time to buy the Lenovo Thinkpad 410p/510p?

I was thinking of buying either the Lenovo Thinkpad 410p or the 510p. Was actually leaning towards the 410p because I have no use for the numpad and do NOT like having a numpad that naturally squishes keys to accommodate for it.

I was looking through the Lenovo US site and saw how they were selling the 410p with 900p resolution at $850. It seemed like a great deal since apparently I was saving $450.

But the problem is that I am not currently in the US right now and if I buy it and have a friend send it overseas to me, it would be a hell of a hassle trying to get a replacement if anything is wrong.

So my question is, is this a once in a lifetime deal? or does Lenovo do these kinds of sales often?

    Thanks

The sale is permanent. Ive seen this sale go on since december 2012. However, on the fourth of July, the laptop was an extra 20$ off.

Yes the sales mostly stay the same +-20$ every week or so. So there might be a good time but you can easily miss it. So if you wait for too long, might as well wait for newer CPU/GPU. and dont forget to tell your friend to use barnes and noble coupon link. You will save 40-50$ more
