    Is there a way to resurface the thinkpad lid?

    The rubbery substance used on the older thinkpads gave a nice look to the machines. Unfortunately, the material is subject to all kinds of scuffs and scrapes. Anyone found a way to deal with this?

    No. New lids aren't too expensive for most models. Just replace it.
