    Hi,

i am about to order a T61. Now I don't have all the payment / shipping crap sorted out yet, but the Memorial Day Sale ends tomorrow. Do I really need to hurry up, or is it quite sure that another Sale event will follow immediately after that?

I know you guys cant tell for sure but how has it been in the past? :)

    no not another sale immediately

sales and other offers (eg. free upgrades) come & go and change from time to time.

i doubt immediately, but as the other manufactures start shipping their SR machines, im sure Lenovo will have to counter with either lower prices, or another sale. You always have Mr Meyer, everyones friend to help out on EPP :)

I've been shopping for a laptop since late March. Lenovo has been having some kind of sale since at least then. Each sale lasts about ten days, and the specific details of each sale are different. However, every time I've priced out the machine I ended up buying at the end of April, it's come out to within 10% or so of what I paid.

If you're not on a strict budget, I wouldn't feel rushed. (Here's hoping I don't eat these words.)

Look, just order now. In the 1-2 months it takes for it to come, you can always cancel the order if a better one pops up.
