Today I decided to migrate from x86 Windows to x64 Windows. I did my backup, I took x64 Windows 7 and formatted my C:\ drive. After the Windows was installed, I began to install network driver, .net library and System Update in order to automatically download nesassery drivers and software.

What was my frustration when I saw there are no more Think Vantage software in System Update software. So if I want my Think Vantage, I must download all from their site.

So, the question is - is there any LOGICAL reason Lenovo to remove Think Vantage Software from their System Update tool? And why they continue to torture their users with useless decisions like this one, or removing hotkey support from Windows 7?!

I cannot even install my bluetooth drivers...

Oh, Lenovo, why always cause me such a pain?!

Access Connections, Airbag Protection and Power Manager.

They are all removed from Software Update software tool. In order to have them installed, you must download from Lenovo's site and install them manually.

Another problem was the last version of Hot Keys which aren't work, in order to get them work you must install Power Manager Driver and step down few versions.
I currently using 3.8.5, because in the new version OSD doesn't appear and buttons doesn't work.

It depends from the current person. I personally prefer the automated way. It keeps me up to date with newest drivers and versions of the support software, but now it's no longer workable solution. At least for me. So in order to get everything work I have to install them manually.
    Kinda disapointing, but...
