    Hi Im looking to buy a new T420. I was wondering if this was a good configuration...

    Intel Core i5-2410M Processor (2.30GHz, 3MB L3)1

    I can get it for $765 + $50 tax.

    Whether or not it's a good configuration depends largely on what you intend to do with your computer. Will you be doing anything graphics-intensive? If so, you should configure it with the NVS4200M graphics card.

    In general, I would suggest that you use the Intel Centrino 6205 wireless card instead of the Wireless-N 1000.

    I'd personally go with the stock Thinkpad WiFi or Intel 6205N. I'd get the bluetooth too :)

    Thanks, But what is the difference between intel centrino 6205 and Wireless N 1000. And no I dont think I am too graphics intensive

    Get the 9 cell battery for longer battery life if you need long battery life.
