I found what looks like a good deal at Lenovo 4287-2WU ThinkPad X220 12.5" Notebook PC in PC Notebook Computers | JR.com
The reason I like this deal is because this one has a CD Rom drive which seems to be rare for the 12.5 size.
Any thoughts on whether this is a decent deal or not???
If not, where can I get this same laptop at a better price?

Are you sure this X220 configuration comes with the UltraBase? If you look at the box contents, the UltraBase is not listed. The X220 doesn't have a built-in optical drive; it's added with the docking UltraBase. Personally, I would say you're better off with a cheap $20 external ODD.

According to the tabook, it does have Ultrabase with DVDRW.
It seems like an OK deal if you want the ultrabase, though I think MS is quite correct that an external drive is much cheaper unless you want the ultrabase. -
Unless they've added new models since I last looked at tabook, there are no good deals on pre-configured X220's (non-tablet). If I was in the market for one today I'd check the Outlet. There are some amazing prices there from time to time.
Is this a decent deal???
