    Is this a decent price?

$799 is rather steep for a T60p despite the nice flexview screen. I believe if you look around you probably can get something similar at a much lower price.

They do have some cheaper ones on there, but someone upgraded this one with a T7600 processor so I can use Windows 7 64bit.

not cheap.... 400 to 500 dollars is the price you should get this at. Look around the marketplace on this forum and forum.thinkpads.com.

Just put a wanted ad on the forum here and thinkpads.com and see what happens. I'm sure anything offered you will be in better condition and cheaper than the one you found on Ebay...

I was really tempted to pay more for the 64 bit processor, but after reading that the T60 is limited to 3GB of RAM by the chipset, I'm failing to see much benefit to having a core 2 duo processor. So I'm going to look for one in the $400-$500 range with the standard T2xxx processor.

    Thanks.

I think you'll be in for a surprise, you may even find some T61 or T400 systems within the price range if you look around hard enough on eBay. My current T61 costed me just £250 (~$388 USD) initially with a Core 2 Duo (T7100) inside, though I did swap this out and went for the T9300 that set me back an extra £80 (~$124), afterwards my Windows Experience CPU Rating jumped from 4.9 to 6.1.

Processors are relatively easy to upgrade for both of these systems should you want the extra horsepower. Also both T61 and T400 can stretch to 8GB RAM which I presume is what you want in 64 bit computing (T61 uses DDR2 while T400 uses DDR3). So I recommend looking around on these models, check for signs of wear and ask the seller any questions if you're unsure on anything. Some systems may still come with some warranty which is an added bonus.

Well, I really want the IPS screen.
